Arriving in Da Nang: a sea-view bathroom and food around town
After arriving in Da Nang and leaving her bags at the hotel, Haruru headed into town. She enjoyed a mango yogurt drink and chicken rice, then an evening meal on a terrace with a pleasant breeze.

The arrival morning and a bathroom overlooking the beach
The sun was strong on the morning she arrived in Da Nang, and she still felt hot in short sleeves. A car met her for the journey to the hotel.
Along the way, the guide bought her a banh mi, and she bought beer near the hotel. She was happy to be able to enter her room early that day.
The room was spacious, and the open-feeling bathroom looked out towards the beach. Her note also remembers that she forgot to photograph the room.
A mango drink, chicken rice and a walk around town
After leaving her bags, she took a taxi into Da Nang. Feeling thirsty, she stopped at an open-feeling shop for a mango yogurt drink and was delighted by its generous amount of mango.
She tried the recommended chicken rice and then wandered around town. On that visit, the many motorbikes and few traffic lights made crossing the roads feel difficult.
An evening terrace meal with wine and a breeze
For dinner, she went to a stylish open-terrace restaurant. The light breeze felt pleasant, and drinking wine put her in a leisurely mood.
