A bungalow trip for three, followed by a bath and Oshino Hakkai
The bus tour was full, so Haruru and her two companions chose a bungalow stay at Country Bear campsite in Shizuoka. A hot-spring stop and Oshino Hakkai followed the next day, on a trip full of laughter.

A bungalow stay instead of the bus tour
With the bus tour full, the three chose a bungalow stay at Country Bear campsite in Shizuoka.
They had planned to stop at Fumotoppara before heading there, but the distance was greater than Haruru had expected. They nevertheless arrived safely.
Planning a self-catered stay for the usual group of three
For their usual group of three, the idea of doing some cooking helped shape the trip. They chose a bungalow stay as a different way to spend their time from the bus tour they had considered.
Benifuji no Yu in the morning, then Oshino Hakkai
The next morning began with a hot-spring stop at Benifuji no Yu. They also visited Oshino Hakkai and the roadside station in Fujiyoshida.
A slow journey home after a trip full of laughter
Heavy traffic on the Chuo Expressway meant it took about four hours to arrive. They had dinner at Jonathan's before going their separate ways.
Haruru remembered another trip full of laughter and wondered whether the three might travel together again the following year.
