A final camping meal with new company

For the final meal of the camping trip, Haruru made ajillo with large shrimp and octopus, mussels and scallops cooked in butter, and other dishes. She had made too much again, but was pleased that everyone enjoyed it.

Along with the shrimp-and-octopus ajillo and mussels and scallops cooked in butter, she made other dishes too. The meal grew larger than planned, but seeing everyone enjoy it made Haruru feel it had been worthwhile.

Still more she wanted everyone to try

There were still two more dishes she wanted everyone to try, but they had reached their limit. Having more food to share than anyone had room for became another memory of the camping meal.

Warm sunshine and new company

The day was clear and warm, with weather that made a nap sound tempting. It was her first camping trip with this group, and she recalled having a happy time together.
