A meal at Bunraku in Ameyoko, then browsing and Akihabara
Haruru returned to Bunraku in Ameyoko after a while. Her outing continued with another meal, browsing shops and a visit to Akihabara.
From haruru.1002’s past accounts.
Returning to familiar dishes at Bunraku
The restaurant was almost full when she visited on a weekday afternoon. Haruru enjoyed motsuni, liver steak and chicken thigh with miso and garlic.
She noted the generous garlic on the chicken thigh and described the hatsumoto as juicy and delicious. She also liked the fatty horumon, while recognising that it might not appeal to someone who disliked fatty textures.
A half-size seafood bowl afterwards
She then went for a seafood bowl and ordered a half-size portion. For Haruru, the amount was just right.
Although she thought it looked reasonably appealing, she did not enjoy the flavour as much as she had hoped. This was her impression of the separate seafood meal that followed Bunraku.
Browsing shops and visiting Akihabara
She browsed household goods and clothing, and went to Akihabara too. Several shops gave her a feeling of the Showa era.
She also picked up a Tensai Bakabon keychain. Alongside the meals, browsing for things that caught her interest was part of the day’s enjoyment.
