Choosing clothes she would not usually pick herself

First they shopped for clothes as a birthday present. Her daughters chose things she would not usually pick herself, and she enjoyed trying on several outfits.

They then went to the Italian restaurant that had been booked for them. She felt care had gone into each dish of the course and enjoyed everything she ate.

Conversation and the thought of a future trip
