Haruru’s first baseball outing of that year came on a pleasantly breezy day. Although the team lost, she enjoyed her usual mikan ice and GIRLS festival.

A breezy day for the first game of the year
It was less hot than the previous week, with a breeze from time to time. The game ended in defeat, but Yakult’s cheering song, Tokyo Ondo, stayed in her head and made her want to sing along.
Mikan ice and something to enjoy after the game
Mikan ice, which she said she always ate at games, was another highlight. GIRLS festival and fireworks rounded out the outing, though she wished it had been a little darker for the display.
