Eel, yakiniku, Italian lunch and a Nepalese buffet in Aichi

Haruru travelled to Aichi by Shinkansen, ate eel hitsumabushi in Nagoya and visited her usual yakiniku restaurant that evening. The next day brought more meals, which she remembered while heading towards another trip.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

From a Korea trip to Aichi

Three hours after returning home from Korea, she set off again. This time she took the Shinkansen to Aichi and met up at Nagoya Station.

Eel hitsumabushi to begin

The first meal after meeting up was eel hitsumabushi. It began her account of eating in Aichi.

Her usual yakiniku restaurant that evening

That evening she visited her usual yakiniku restaurant. Her brief account records a different meal from the eel she had eaten earlier.

Italian lunch the next day

The next day's lunch was Italian. The meal photographs include a plate of small dishes, a noodle dish and something sweet, preserving views of the table.

Freshly baked naan at a Nepalese buffet

Dinner was a Nepalese buffet with many varieties of naan. She wrote that the naan was brought out freshly baked and recalled eating rather more than she had intended.

Remembering the meals on the way to another trip

At the time of writing, she was heading towards a one-night trip to Osaka. The account ends as she remembers her Aichi meals and anticipates more eating on the next journey.
