A thoughtful meal shared through a family invitation

Haruru’s daughter and her husband had enjoyed a meal on their wedding anniversary and talked about bringing her there too. Haruru was delighted by the thought and dressed up a little for their meal.

Dressing up for a welcome invitation

Her daughter and her husband wanted her to enjoy a restaurant they had liked so much. That thought meant a great deal to Haruru.

She dressed up a little for the visit. The interior felt stylish, and the group was shown to a private room for the meal.

Taking more time with each dish

Haruru was told that the carefully chosen tableware had been made by an artist in Toyota. Hearing the explanation for each dish helped her appreciate the care that had gone into it, and she took more time than usual to savour the meal.

She wrote on the foie gras pudding photograph that it was especially delicious. Separate dish photographs also carry the labels 冷製コンポタージュ, 水タコ, 岩牡蠣, 鰆 and あか牛.

Small details kept from the table

The photographs also keep sweets on a plate and a cup beside small pastries. The tableware and presentation remain part of a meal that began with a welcome invitation.
